Completing this promotional website was quite the task, but we as a group are currently preparing ourselves for what more challenges we may encounter when we finally undergo the procress of completing the programming for the actual game. With the conceptualization and and planning finished, all we needed to work on was actually enacting all that we had planned for the website.
Conceptualizing the game, along with the plot, setting, goals, and its mechanics was the most remarkable challenge for the team. As fans of thrillers and dystopian fiction, the concept of wild goose chases was one that had captured our interest. We were then set on the idea of a maze-centric game, where the player would have to "catch" a sort of antagonistic figure, but the main question was: how could we incorporate this in a more creative format? And so, the character of the prodigious, caring-brother Renzo and his archnemesis, officer John were born...
